A Timeless Wedding at Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms Estate

There's something special about performing at Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms Estate. You can feel the history the moment you arrive. We had the privilege of providing live music for an intimate Mid-Century Modern wedding there in June, planned by The Love Riot, and it was one of those evenings we'll never forget.

The cocktail hour unfolded around the iconic pool as guests soaked in the Palm Springs sunshine before the ceremony on the lawn, framed by the estate's overhang walkway and palm trees. Throughout the evening, everyone was starstruck, taking in the stories shared during the estate tour and appreciating what a rare experience it was to celebrate in one of Palm Springs' most legendary homes.

For a setting like this, the music deserved to feel just as timeless. Our six-piece ensemble provided live music from cocktails through dinner and dancing—including the chance to perform on Frank Sinatra's own piano. Besides ol’ blue eyes classics, we leaned into the spirit of the estate with Swing favorites, Latin Jazz, Classic Rock & Roll, and Soul, creating a soundtrack that felt right at home in the house where so many legendary evenings once took place.

As the sun set over Palm Springs, the celebration shifted into high gear. The newlyweds made their exit from the ceremony to Ain't That a Kick in the Head. Guests packed Sinatra's living room, dancing to everything from Jump, Jive an' Wail and Route 66 to Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, & My Girl. By the end of the night, the party spilled right back to the pool as the couple and several guests jumped in together—a perfect Palm Springs finale.

Watching everyone laugh, dance, and celebrate inside a home built for unforgettable evenings was a reminder that great music never goes out of style. Neither does great love. It was an honor to help provide the soundtrack for a wedding that felt every bit as timeless as the setting itself.
